For the 2015 General Election Firearms UK have prepared the following questionnaire and are asking followers to send it to their local candidates. We then ask that you forward their response to contact@firearmsuk.org using the title Election 2015.
We will be rating candidates accordingly on a scale from 0-10 with ten being the highest possible score. We will recommend that firearms enthusiasts vote for the most pro-gun candidates regardless of their political party. However we will also strive to achieve an overall average score for political parties so in certain areas it may be more prudent to vote on a party basis where the overall party score is higher.
In recent years we have seen ever increasing hostility from politicians. We often try to work with them and educate them where possible as often the information they receive is false. When this isn’t possible we recommend that we strive to remove them from their position using the power of democracy.

I am contacting you to enquire about your views on private firearms ownership in the UK. I would be grateful if you could answer the following questions. If you would like to go into any detail on your answers it would be most appreciated. Your responses will influence how I vote in May. Your answers will be shared publicly.
Do you believe in a total ban on private firearms ownership?
Do you believe that private firearms ownership should face greater restrictions?
Do you believe the current system is balanced/there is no need for change?
Do you support all forms of legal shooting in the UK? (if there are exceptions e.g. game shooting, please state)
Would you oppose any moves to further restrict private firearms ownership in the UK?
Do you believe that our firearms laws are in need of reformation and sensible relaxation?
If you support UK citizen’s rights to participate in shooting sports do you also support changing the law to allow .22 pistols to be used for competitive shooting thus allowing ordinary UK citizens to compete in international events such as the Olympic and Commonwealth games?
