Our take on why shooters should be angry at our certificate fee’s constantly being referred to as a subsidy.
We remind people this is forced upon us in the name of public safety and should, therefore, be contributed to from the public purse. We also point out that shooters themselves are taxpayers and contribute a huge amount to the economy.
We do not get a say in where our tax money goes yet we must foot the bill for something that we do not want and that has negligible effect on improving public safety.
