As a demographic which generally enjoys the great outdoors, whether for shooting on outdoor ranges, game shooting, dog training or other country pursuits we are particularly susceptible to ticks… and with them tick borne diseases, such as Lyme disease.
Please make yourself aware of the risks, and what to look out for, and share this information to inform others. We have been made aware that our health service isn’t naturally geared up to identify and treat those who have been infected with Lyme disease, unlike on the continent, so it is essential we all do what we can to avoid an infection occurring in the first place.
